I am so excited to bring my passion for swimming to you! As a born and bred Buckeye, I love Ohio State Football. As a person who grew up with a fear of deep water, I bring a unique understanding of overcoming that fear. As a father, I understand the whims and moods of children. As a former coach and collegiate swimmer, I understand how honing skills and strokes leads to greater success in the pool. I hope to see you in the pool soon!

Hi, I'm Coach Cris and I am looking forward to seeing your little ones in the pool. Raised in the heart of Texas, I’ve spent years navigating rivers, lakes, swimming holes, and everything in between. For more than 13 years, I’ve guided, encouraged, and motivated swimmers of all ages while proving that progress is always possible. Along the way, I’ve spent 2 years volunteering with Special Olympics, guarded countless joyful swims, and taught water safety and swim techniques across multiple levels. So come grow your confidence, expand your abilities, and chase your goals with me.

Beyond my athletic achievements, I've served as a coach and, for a total of 20 years, as a devoted instructor, guiding swimmers toward their goals.

We began working with Mark about 5 years ago and he is absolutely wonderful. He's so kind and patient with our kids and has been amazing at teaching them how to swim. He initially focused on life-saving techniques and eventually got to the point where he was teaching my daughter different strokes! My kids love him so much that they have invited him to their birthday parties. Can't imagine a better swim instructor honestly and will be legit sad when we're done working with him!

Mark has done a fantastic job teaching our son to swim and I would highly recommend him. We tried a few different instructors but none has the perfect blend of skills that Mark does. He is firm yet fun and our son actually looks forward to the lessons. Our son has improved tremendously under Mark's tutelage. Can't thank him enough!
